On the 14th, 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO Futures All-Star Game was held at Sajik Stadium in Busan. Park Chi-wang, head coach of the Armed Forces Sports Unit, participated in the All-Star Game as the All-Star coach of the Southern League.

Although he had a break due to injury this season, he is performing well compared to his game with a batting average of 0.301 62 hits, three home runs, and 27 RBIs.

Koo Ja-wook signed a five-year, up to 12 billion won non-FA multi-year contract with Samsung ahead of last season. Koo Ja-wook, who receives an annual salary of 2 billion won this season, is the KBO League’s annual salary king.
